We're Hiring!

I'm so excited to share that I am officially ready to hire a registered dietitian to work with the team at Positive Nutrition!!!

Over the last years since I opened my practice in 2014, my business and clientele have expanded. I'm at the point where I need some help to keep up with the client load I have and I'm oh-so-excited to go down this path and bring another RDN on board to collaborate with and to grow together!!

Here are some details to consider before applying for the position.

Role responsibilities:

  • Conduct nutrition assessments: initial consultation, follow ups.

  • Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team (when applicable).

  • Appropriate documentation of nutrition visits in EMR.

  • Possibility of teaching a weekly Positive Nutrition During Addiction Recovery group at a local drug and alcohol addiction treatment center.

  • Maintain communication with Paige Smathers and other members of the Positive Nutrition team.

Position qualifications:

  • Must be a registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN) to apply.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in nutrition counseling / nutrition therapy as a RDN.

  • Strong interpersonal skills.

  • Demonstrated positive track record in effective and compassionate nutrition therapy.

  • Excellent communication skills: both written and oral.

  • Exceptional time and priority management skills.

  • Ability to work independently and follow through on assignments.

  • Ability to work as an integral part of the Positive Nutrition team.

  • Must have a deep understanding of principles of Intuitive Eating, ED recovery, weight-neutral nutrition interventions and passionate about the non-diet approach to health. Applicant must already possess a track record in practicing under these models.
