About the Group
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and mindfulness are gaining momentum and popularity in the current culture at large and body of scientific literature. The field of nutrition and dietetics frequently intersects with the counseling and therapeutic setting, and a solid ACT foundation can be effective for dietitians engaging in nutrition therapy. As many dietitians work in eating disorder care as well as behavioral nutrition, ACT principles can be used to effectively help clients and patients heal. This webinar will provide practical tools to help dietitians integrate this framework into their practice.
The webinar will take place online on May 21 and RDNs who attend will be eligible to receive 1.5 CPEs.

If you are someone who is actively struggling with disordered eating, this workshop might not be the best place for you to start. We would suggest working with someone one-on-one to focus on all aspects of your relationship with food. If you aren’t sure, feel free to reach out directly with questions and we can help you decide if this is the right fit for you.
