IMPORTANT APPOINTMENT INFO

PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE PROCEEDING TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT

We're so excited to get started working with you! This page explains more about what to expect working with the dietitians at Positive Nutrition.

We have a strict 24 hour cancellation policy. Please do not make an appointment unless you are able to show up. In the case of a no-show or late cancellation, you will be billed for the self-pay rate for the appointment. You will receive a text and email reminder for your appointment.

After you click the button below and schedule your appointment, you will receive the online paperwork emailed to you via Simple Practice. Before your first appointment, please ensure you complete the new client paperwork, allowing about 10-15 minutes to do so. Please do this ASAP and your appointment will be officially reserved.

When you click the make an appointment button below, you will select "I'm a new client" and then will be asked to select your clinician. If you are unsure of who you would like to work with, feel free to check out the about page where each dietitian has their information about specialties, insurances taken, and populations they work with.

If you would like some help being matched to the provider who accepts your insurance and meets your needs for nutrition goals and insurance taken, feel free to fill out our request an appointment form and one of the team members will reach out to you with suggestions for getting started.

Please be aware that we are not in a position to interpret your insurance benefits or guarantee coverage. In the new client paperwork, we provide an insurance script you can use to call and understand your benefits better. Being an in-network provider with your insurance does not necessarily mean they will cover nutrition visits. If your visit is denied by your insurance you will be billed the self-pay rate for the appointment. With all of that said, with rare exceptions, most people get great coverage (many even get 100%, unlimited coverage) for nutrition therapy. Feel free to check out our insurance page for more detailed information about each insurance we are in-network with.

If you are wanting more information about what to expect about working with a dietitian, please check out our FAQ page.
